Jobs, Knowledge, and New Opportunities for the Amulsar Surrounding Communities

As the Amulsar Mine prepares to begin operations, Lydian Armenia has launched a training program for residents of the surrounding communities, aiming to build a local workforce equipped with the skills and expertise required to meet today’s industry standards.

Through the program, participants receive comprehensive theoretical and practical training led by experienced international experts, developing expertise in modern mining technologies, workplace health and safety practices, and best-in-class production processes.

This is not simply training that precedes employment. It is an investment in people—their knowledge, skills, and professional growth—enabling them to acquire qualifications and hands-on experience that will serve them throughout their careers. In the end, it creates lasting value for both the surrounding communities and the company.

Lydian Armenia is developing a highly qualified local workforce equipped to support the safe and efficient operation of the Amulsar Mine. At the same time, the program enables participants to become competitive professionals, strengthening their position in the labor market, and broadening their long-term employment opportunities through the knowledge and skills they gain.

This initiative is an integral part of Lydian Armenia’s long-term strategy, with the development of local human capital at its core. The goal is not simply to create jobs, but to build lasting knowledge, experience, and professional capacity within local communities—providing people with skills and expertise that will benefit them throughout their careers, wherever their professional journeys may lead.
