Environmental Management
Nature is one of Lydian Armenia’s core values, and responsible environmental management is both our duty and an ongoing commitment. Our environmental management practices comply with national legislation and are guided by international best practices, including the standards and principles of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Based on these principles, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) documents for the Amulsar gold project were developed to identify potential risks and establish management plans to prevent and mitigate those risks.
Environmental management at Amulsar is implemented in accordance with these plans and its integrated into the daily work of our teams. Each team member follows the company’s environmental policies, standards and procedures.
At Amulsar, continuous monitoring of air quality, surface and groundwater, soil, noise, vibration, and biodiversity allows for the prompt identification and response to potential deviations. The results support the assessments of the environmental management system’s performance, enable continuous improvement, and promote transparency.

Health and Safety
By placing the highest value on human life and health, Lydian Armenia has established an international-standrad health and safety culture at Amulsar, setting a new benchmark for the mining industry in Armenia. Maintaining and promoting this culture among team members, partners, and surrounding communities remains a core priority and a key foundation for safe operations.
