An English lesson filled with new words, bright smiles, and meaningful conversations about protecting nature.
For almost three months, Lydian Armenia has been providing free English language classes for children in Gndevaz, one of the surrounding communities of Amulsar. 45 students are actively participating in the program, developing their English skills in a fun, interactive, and inspiring learning environment.
Ahead of May 22 — the International Day for Biological Diversity — the students dedicated a special lesson to biodiversity and environmental protection. Together with Lydian Armenia’s specialists, they explored the importance of preserving biodiversity, learned about Armenia’s Red Book, discovered local plant and animal species found in their community, and discussed simple yet meaningful ways each of them can help protect the environment.
We believe that respect and responsibility toward nature begin at an early age. That’s why we are especially happy to support young learners not only in gaining knowledge, but also in developing values that will help shape a more caring and sustainable future.
